 1. The African Crowned Crane
The African Crowned Crane is one of the most charming birds in the African savannah, which is it the southern part of the Sahara desert. However, the bird prefers to nest in wetter habitats to keep it cool and comfortable. These birds may also be found flying around the lakes, and some flatlands near rivers.
